Lets talk Intensity! Not every workout has to leave you breathless and dripping in sweat! Depending on what your goals are (fat loss, weight loss, power, hypertrophy, etc.) different exercise routines will illicit different results. For example, overall weight loss might be a 60/40 cardio to weights regime, while fat loss can be a 1:3 ratio of cardio to weight training. Power training should include liberal high intensity training w/ shorter rest periods, and hypertrophy needs high weights, low reps and longer rest periods. For ideal, overall fitness, change it up weekly to keep your body guessing, reduce your risk of over-use injuries, and prevent plateaus. Go get em! :)
