Lets welcome Garrett Loria AKA DJ Aeros to the VEP Team! Garretts long journey through music began with piano lessons at age 5. He immediately fell in love with instruments and music, and his passion took him through 6 years of music conservatory at the Orange County High School of the Arts. In the midst of studying classical and jazz, Garrett discovered DJing and quickly realized the diversity and wonder of the musical art in its modern form. He began to dabble producing electronic music, started to DJ for school dances, and his excitement grew so much that when he traveled to Berkeley for his undergrad, he immediately bought a set of turntables. Since then Garrett has never stopped DJing. He played for fraternities and other organizations for 2 years and continues to perform at some of the largest parties at Cal. He attained a residency at Lux Lounge & Night Club on Telegraph Ave. six months ago, is often DJing alongside acclaimed electronic artists, and is an active producer. Some of his mashups and originals have garnered significant online attention, and he is excited for all of the musical endeavors still to come!
