Letter: Open Letter To UPND And Its President There is a press warning on Zambia reports that HH is being insulted right center and left by the bloggers and I find this trivial on the UPND part. Zambia is a democracy and we are simply using our hard fought for democratic right to express our thoughts. Ask your HH to make realistic promises and not to over promise. For example free education, free health care, reinstate nurses, free farming inputs, re-introduction of subsidies. He talks of balancing cabinet when most of elite MPs are from Southern province my Tonga Land… He has not even laid down anything to do with the mining companies, infrastructure development, tax regime, VAT, import and export duties, also manufacturing. As for me these are what you may term as insults to UPND President. I want HH to talk to me, convince me as an individual how he is going to finance for these free issues promise he is making. Where is he going to get the money from? He also talks about lifting the wage freeze. What really surprised me was the issue of loans to street vendors. How is he going to do that, where is going to get the money and does he even know the actual number of street vendors? Mr. Hakainde Hichelema if these are the insults then I feel we have a wrong person aspiring for the office of the President. My dear wife is a Professional teacher and faithful civil servant and feels sorry for HH because he seems not to know his priorities.
