Letter To Nigeria Dear Nigeria, I hear you are going through - TopicsExpress

Letter To Nigeria Dear Nigeria, I hear you are going through a lot at the moment, and I sincerely offer my condolences on the sad state of the nation. Over 200 of your young girls are still waiting for you to come rescue them from the dirty, blood-shedding,bomb-exploding,human-butchering, life-snatching hands of the vicious Boko Haram sect. It seems you have completely forgotten about them, or are they no longer citizens? The other day, I saw the man that collected bribe from Mr Femi O. in the National Assembly. I asked my neighbors dog if that man was supposed to be making laws or gnashing behind bars in that place they call Kirikiri. It seems you are a very good place to break laws, and still make laws. You are a pretty cool country. I saw your president the other day in Washington DC. I wonder when you will outgrow financial aids and start giving aids to other nations. I am not trying to be your financial adviser, but common, when will you truly become a giant. It seems your best friend is darkness. I know you have all it takes to sustain uninterrupted power supply, but it seems you flourish more in darkness. At least, your witches and wizards fly in the night like fireflies. Forgive me if I sound sarcastic, I just cannot help.Nigeria, where are the refineries you spent billions building? Are they still alive or dead. I just keep wondering why you export crude oil out when you have refineries and bring finished products inside and sell to your citizens at exorbitant prices. Maybe there is something I am yet to understand.I am planning to come do my doctoral research over there, but do you have any institution that can compete with Harvard, or Oxford, Or Cambridge, or Stanford? I heard your tertiary institutions are in shambles. Is that true? If it is, then how do you expect to outgrow poverty? It is just a question.I like the tourism you hold. The arrays of beggars on the streetsare a sight to behold. The potholes on the roads are interesting tourist attractions too. I particularly enjoy seeing the dirt that litter your streets. Definitely, your tourism is splendid. And finally, I am so sorry the deadly Ebola has hit your country. That is what you get when you fold your hands until the storm comes. You heard about it hitting hard on your sister-nations,but you never bothered taking precautionary measures. Now you want to contain it Goodluck! At least, your presidents name is Goodluck.Till I write again. Remain Nigeria.
