Letter: We Need National Day of Prayer We need a National Day of prayer to thank God for the peaceful transition and to commit our leadership into the hands of the Almighty! Zambia is endowed with an abundance of resources and we need to be a well-to-do Nation. I mean, we have Copper, emeralds, abundant water resources, arable land, I hear we even have gold. Why then should we be impoverished? Proverbially we are like the servant in the PARABLE of the talent who buried his talent when his master was away! We need to dig that talent out and multiply it! The tree that yieldeth no fruit will be cut down, God forbid that Zambia should be that tree! Let us all pray for Mother Zambia’s prosperity or else posterity may judge us harshly for having failed to manage such a beautiful Nation!
