Letter from THIS generation: Regard us as a firmly planted blossom, Held fast in its roots but still reaching to the sky For something more. Is there? More, I mean. But who are we? Pondering these curiosities With as much conviction as a child In a church. So true, so pure... Longing to know the truth, not for power, But because of the power that comes From loving the truth. But the sins of the young mean nothing, as it turns out. When we are at our purest, When were most delicate And insignificant, It is the only instance in life Where we truly hold the power. For no one knows that in our weakness; We become the strongest. Because of our desire and ache for knowledge,; What we will, WILL. We know not of ignorance, or bliss; Only the longing of wisdom and liberty. We know not of pride and greed, But hold hearts full of humbleness and compassion. We are not an image of the media, We are an image of the future. We are us. And we arent alone. If you feel the same, share.
