Letter of thanks, written today to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Vanuatu, Moana Carcasses by the Chairman of the West Papua National Committee [KNPB], Victor Yeimo who is currently behind bars in West Papua. knpbnews/blog/archives/2884 H.E. Mr. Moana Carcasses Kalosil, Prime Minister of Vanuatu Port Villa, Vanuatu Dear Mr. Prime Minister As a Chairman of the West Papua National Commitee (KNPB), and on be half of the Melanesian people of West Papua, i would like to express my sincere gratitude for your great speech at United Nation General Assembly, Saturday, September 28, to rise the long struggle of West Papua. That was exactly the contrite and outstanding effort we are needing from the leaders of Melanesian. Today, in this beautiful Sunday, from Indonesian prison bars, on this forgotten land, Me and all leaders received the print of your speech. It was exciting to read your calling to UN as Vanuatu’s long-standing against colonialism and imperialism, both satan which has made our Melanesian Nations as slave and suffer. I wanted to take a moment to say in a prayer how much we appreciated the great commitment of you and your people of Vanuatu as the first Prime Minister of country said “Vanuatu will not be fully free until all Melanesian are free.” We believe in your commitment and that is why thousands people of West Papua mediated by KNPB took part across West Papua on September 16 ago in support you, even 249 people arrested and many of them beaten by Indonesian angry Police and Military. As you know our people of West Papua have been giving big hope for Melanesian Leaders to bring our crying for Freedom, and now we proud to have leader like you, the real Melanesian Leader who are inspiring all leaders of Melanesia, because without your urgent support we will not be able to achieve our right of self-determination. Once again, thank you very much for rising West Papuan problems at UN General Assembly. Your effort will go a long the struggle of this nation in achieving our freedom from colonialism and imperialism. Sincerely Victor Yeimo Chairman of the KNPB Behind Prison Bars of Abepura West Papua
