Letter received today from Judicial commission NSW. In regards to judge not acceding to a request for an audio of a court sentencing. Also the judge has not provided .. A full written transcript which was ordered December 2012. For an appeal against a co offenders sentence by lawyer handling the appeal at the time. The remarks on sentence for this transcript have still not been received. Its now September 2014. After many requests. The commissions response was the judge can exercise his discretion not to approve the release of a sound recording No response to remarks on sentencing not being received This co offender sat in the court room and made alleged allegations about our family. This caused the judge to address us by name not to approach him during the break. The commission states the judge did not mention us by name. So the commission is saying We thought we heard it. Even though 4 people heard him say our names. The commission stated the co offender was frightened as he was crown witness. Which is why the judge did this. But this man was not frightened when he went to the police station and gave a false statement. And sat under oath stating his statement was true and correct.
