Letters from Prisoners. October 24, 2014 We urge you to find a place in your budget and your heart to send a prisoner a book today. We have recently reordered books but we really need money for postage. This week your book purchase price will go to pay for postage, which we’ll send to the Human Kindness Foundation where they prepare and mail the books. Your donation is a gift of life and love to a lonely prisoner in pain. Namaste. Heres the link to buy a book: prisonyoga.org Hello! I was forwarded your information by The Human Kindness Foundation. My facility requires prior approval for all books! I have already had Yoga: A Path for Healing and Recover approved! I would greatly appreciate you sending it! Thank you very much. Prisoner Rappahannock Regional Jail PO Box 3300 Stafford VA 22555 Prison Yoga Project, I’m writing to you with the hope that you can and will send me the 100 page yoga manual written for people in prison. I understand the book is free and sent to prisoners nationwide. I hope this is true because I would like to learn the proper ways to do yoga exercises and how to really meditate. Right now I exercise daily, but just exercises such as push ups, sit ups etc. They help me stay in decent shape but it’s my understanding, from what I’ve heard others say, that yoga is much better for your joints and body. Since I’m housed in a cell by myself for at least 23 hours a day, I have plenty of time to learn meditation and other exercises that will help me. Sincerely, Prisoner Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice Clements Unit Amarillo TX 79107 To whom it may concern, Could you please send me your “Prison Yoga Project” book. An inmate showed me her copy and I am so anxious to do yoga and meditations. I am incarcerated at Alderson Federal Prison Camp. Thank you so much.
