Letters from home-- Richard, Back in 2006 I had the pleasure of meeting you along with my then 12 year old son before you performed at the TLA in Philadelphia with Army of Anyone. Fast forward 8 years and that 12 year old boy is now a 20 year old man / soldier serving in the United States Army stationed at the same base in Afghanistan where you will be performing today. His name is PFC. Gavin Mikolajczak (pronounced Mick-O-Why-Check) and he is with the 23rd Military Police Company. I believe he is working your security detail and I sure hope he gets a chance to cross paths with you before you leave. Thanks to you and the band for all you do to support our soldiers.
