Danny Sadowski Though if its too dangerous to hold the ball, I recommend holding your hand flat & asking him to drop it - hell try to put it in your hand to have you throw it again, but just wait it out, itll be too boring eventually for him & hell drop it. Then create that barrier, & hold him back on the leash for you to be able to pick it up without him lunging for the ball. He does it with me with enough practice, but hes not had enough time consistently with me to reinforce it enough. There has to be repetition, consistency and patience!!!!!
