Let’s shift this around some and utilize everyone’s (I presume) desire to see the Giants win the World Series and Politics. Many times certain people from a certain political affiliation describe others as ‘mean spirited,’ ‘cold,’ ‘cheap’ and ‘only out for themselves.’ While they describe themselves as ‘compassionate,’ ‘loving’ and ‘only out to help everyone.’ In order to help others though, they utilize gov’t to ‘level the playing field’ and provide opportunity by squashing competition to achieve an ‘equitable outcome for all concerned.’ So, my simple question is, utilizing your political philosophy, how do you reconcile your desire and willingness to see the Giants win a World Series at the expense and self esteem of the Kansas City Royals? Wouldn’t it be more in-line with one’s political belief’s to have the series end in a tie, and each team share in the prize? Imagine how bad one team will feel if the other team wins? I look forward to a nice civil discussion.
