Lex update: Last night was by far the worse night of our lives... Lex had a full day of confusion and tremors and later in the evening he had a couple seizures, then he coded a few times (heart stopped) and the doctor strongly encouraged I DNR him because he simply wasnt responding. Just being talked to about such a decision is the most painful and terrifying thing a parent has to hear. After a tortuous discussion we only agreed to no chest compressions if he coded again, because we did not want to cause him any more pain. As soon as we agreed to that, he never coded again and has be slightly improving since. We are still far from ok, but at least the progress is in his favor. Never quit praying please 🙏🙏🙏
