Wearing a lush, gleaming black and white coat, with her nose and ears sprinkled with black freckles, Lexas is a stunner! Likely housetrained she goes as soon as we are out the door, and wags her tail at everyone we pass in the street. Off leash in the back yard she executes some zoomies, loves chasing and pouncing on a tennis ball (but doesnt retrieve - instead I do!), and just knows how to have a good time. When its time to get serious for some picture taking, shes a rock star, sitting when I ask her to, and making a serious face for the camera. As soon as photos are over shes smiling again! Lexas is ready to move into her new life with her new bestie, and hopes she doesnt have to wait long for it to start. Ask to meet Lexas today. 02/24/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPERIENCE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Lexas pulls on leash. She was anxious and focused on objects in the room. During handling she was active and focused on other stimuli, but maintained soft body language. It was a little difficult to push Lexas out of her food bowl, but she had soft body language. She was playful with her toy and rawhide. Lexas rushed in with a stiff body during the dog-to-dog interaction. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessors hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 2. Dog is active and focused on the Assessor and all other stimuli available. Her body is soft, likely panting, likely to display high movement between attempts. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) she is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Dog may lick hand. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Food 2. Dog follows the dish with her tail down, body likely a bit stiff.
