Liam Neeson , Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen Returning for Taken 3 Liam Neeson has accepted $20 million to return for a third Taken film, and now comes word that Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen have both just signed deals to reprise their roles. It was previously reported that Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the franchise. Taken 3 will be directed by Olivier Megaton (Taken 2) and is set to start filming at the end of the month. The first Taken film was made for $25 million and went on to gross $227 million worldwide. The sequel was made for $45 million and earned $376 million.
