Liberal Democrat former Congressman and disgraced former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner pleads guilty to one felony and two misdemeanors. No jail time but probation, no voting, no gun owning, loss of a portion of his tax-payer funded pensions; now comes the lawsuits. Pleaded out to avoid prison. Bob Filner and his slavish followers demanded due process. He got it. Bob Filner joins the pantheon of ridiculous crooked and criminal mayors since the 1980s; to wit: Maureen OConnor who was squashed by Roger Hedgecock who won the eat when Hedgecock was kicked out of office when he was convicted of 13 felonies. She married a filthy rich sick man, inherited his millions, gambled that away then stole over $2 million from the charity foundation her Jack in The Box founder husband left behind. OConnor, Democrat; Hedgecock, Republican and now Filner.
