Liberals put too many of our eggs in the basket of presidential elections, but if Bernie Sanders runs for the big dance that may just pull me back onto the dance floor. If he runs for the Democratic nomination he could seriously challenge the pass that Wall Street and big money gets in that party. He is a powerhouse for the values of working people. Even if he loses the nomination, he would make it uncomfortable for any corporate Dems who are also in the running. And if he wins the nomination, he could win the office. Dont tell me he could never win, that the Republicans would paint him as being too far left, that they would call him a socialist. If anyone has been living under a rock the last five years, let me point out the pubbies are going to do that no matter who the nominee is. Theyll be shrill and full of hate; thats what they do.
