Liberia: Attack Near Ivorian Border With Liberia That Killed Two Rev. Blamo Is Concern. Rev. Philip S. Blamo of the New Creation International Ministries in Liberia is calling on the government of Liberia to reinforce the deployment of the Armed Forces Of Liberia to the border towns between Liberia and Ivory Coast and to also investigate the cross border attack that recently killed two Ivorian soldiers. Rev. Blamo said Liberians citizens are not protected in towns near the borders with Ivory Coast due to attacks by armed men believed to be supporters of former Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo who refused to concede defeat to his successor, Alassane Ouattara. We have more to be concern about than playing politic on the lives of the Liberia people according to Rev. Blamo, safety and good health is our main concern and the government should be more concern about the safety of protecting its people from rebels and armed men as well as from disease like Ebola. Rev. Blamo was reacting to a recent news from Ivory Coast Saturday that two soldiers have been killed in a raid on military posts in the southwest of the country. The Ivorian Press Agency said the attack began early Saturday morning in the town of Grabo, near the border with Liberia. The soldiers were killed in the village of Dahioke, 20 kilometers (12 miles) outside the town.
