Liberians need to know the truth that our so-called brothers and sisters that came to us from slavery in 1822 and we embraced them with opened arms, are not for us and not with us, the reasons are glaring, first they were freed and were told by the emancipation declaration that they should go anywhere they will find as home Americas was going to supports them, they came and we accepted them, they were cut off from their African cultural inheritance by conditions of slavery, and were entirely acculturated to contemporary Euro-America society. They were mixed African and European ancestry and therefore generally lighter-skinned than the indigenous blacks. Crucially, they had absorbed beliefs in the religious superiority of European civilization, and aesthetic superiority of European skin color and hair texture. Basing on these qualities from their beliefs they constantly suppressed the large indigenous majority which comprised of 95% of Liberian population. What really surprised me about these people is their beliefs, they lost their senses while in slavery to their slavery masters. We though that they were to build Liberia like the country they left the United States of America, because when they took over Liberia it was a virgin resources country that they have every opportunity to build it. Instead they took our money and bought homes in the United states and else where in the world, used our parents to pay huts and development taxes to send their children abroad to the best Universities in the world. todays, they are still paying loyalty to their slaves masters by coming to the U.S and lobbying with Congress about who to become president of Liberia. Look how the city of Monrovia look like a dumping site, only one road from the Capital building to ElWA junction, no Detour. Liberia the only country in Africa that is friendly with the riches nation in the world, this is a complete shamed for us. And today some of our brothers and sisters who also have lost their senses are still supporting these people agendas. Are they insane or they only need the little cash over the destructions and death of their brothers and sisters? Do we still need them or we the indigenous need to come together to find a indigenous leader that will build our nation? Liberians that 2016 question there ooo.
