Duties: Provide administrative and logistical support to the Directorate and for Council Members. Monitor and evaluate expenditure of conditional grant for public libraries in the provinces. Administer the process of reconstitution of National Council for Library and Information Services and the Legal Deposit Committee. Develop and monitor database for public libraries. Ensure compliance with the acts such as Legal Deposit act, National Library of SA act, South African Library for the Blind, and National Council for Library and Information Services act.
