Library Event: Person of Interest Sergeant Grant Edgar, Officer in Charge of the South East Metro District Forensic Office Day/ Date/Time; Wednesday 21 May 2014 6.00pm Light refreshments Presentation 6.30 to 7.30pm Summary: Grant has been in the police force since 1984 but commenced forensic duties in 1989 and currently is the Officer-in-Charge At the South East Metro District Forensic Investigation Office in Perth. As a crime scene investigator Grant has attended numerous international and national disaster events including the Bali bombings (2002) The Thailand Tsunami (2004) the Victorian bushfires (2009) and Christmas Island boat tragedy (2009) as well as numerous crime incidents such as burglaries and stolen vehicles. Grant will offer some insight into powerful role forensic science plays in the explanation of disasters and crime scenes. Bookings are essential.
