Lie: You have to live according to the standard of others! Truth: You should live according to the standard God has ordained for YOUR life! There are certain people who are called to a greater level of sacrifice, focus, and discipline for the freedom of others! They are equipped to do things that amaze others and intimidate some because of their unaddressed issues such as Compared to others you come up short. The soldiers who are called to a greater level of sacrifice, focus, and discipline are Taking one for the team! They are not looking for anyones permission or anyones praise. The journey they are taking is often a lonely one! Its not about fame or fortune because there is a much easier path if that was the goal! They are being good soldiers and doing as they have been commanded. To whom much is given, much is required! They are not only called to do an enormous of work, but they are called to do the work under tremendous adversity. Heres my point, if you are not called to that level of warfare, then pray for those who are! Some of the freedoms and liberties you enjoy today are because those soldiers did as they were commanded and stood guard while others rested, played, and raised their families! The soldiers dont have to live according to the standard of the civilians and the civilians dont have to live according to the standard of the soldiers! Im tired of hearing civilians critique the soldiers who are ducking bullets to protect them so they can sip coffee and critique! Often I believe that many of the civilians critiquing the soldiers are supposed to be on the front line and they are slacking on their duties so they spend the time they are supposed to be at bootcamp talking about the extreme soldiers who are not enjoying civilian life! If you are called to enjoy civilian life DAILY then thats your standard - enjoy! If you are called to fight DAILY as a soldier do your job - thats the standard you are called to! Soldiers are equipped to fight! Its in their DNA! God doesnt call you to do something He didnt equip you to do! PLEASE REPOST!
