Life Is Not Fair: Don’t expect to be treated fairly in life. It’s inevitable that people will say and do hurtful things that you dont deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow spiritually. Don’t torture yourself by regurgitating everything they did to hurt you. Instead ask God to immediately put forgiveness in your heart for the person who has wronged you. Dont be concerned about setting the record straight. Instead of obsessing about other peoples opinion about you - keep your focus on God and what “He” thinks of you! Ultimately, it is His view of you that really matters! Remember, Jesus knows the meaning of “unfair” better than anyone else. It certainly wasn’t fair that He was nailed to a cross to die for our sins! But He gave His life willingly, so that He could give us the amazing gift of “Eternal Life.” Wow! He gave us so much more than what we deserve, so when others treat you unfairly, don’t be bitter, angry, or even feel sorry for yourself. Forgive and forget!
