Life Isn’t Perfect : The Bible says in Romans 5:3, Knowing tribulation worketh patience. Only by enduring do we learn to endure! We would never learn to be patient if everything was going smoothly in our lives. Sometimes we need to hit rock bottom before we look up and see our need for a Savior. God in His great love for us allows us to experience hardships and heartache so that we will learn to lean on Him. Not everything we want – will turn out the way we want it. And God doesn’t promise that life is always going to be a bed of roses. However, He does promise that He will be with us through every trial, and that we can trust His judgment of what is best for us! Instead of praying that God will take away all heartache, we should pray for more trust and an even closer relationship with Him, that we might obtain strength, faith and courage to face every difficult day! Life won’t be perfect until we get to heaven. Instead of demanding that God answer our prayers “how” and “when” we want Him to; pray for patience and claim Ps 37:7-9, “Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him . . . those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth. Ps 27:14, 1 Corin 13:4-5, Gal 5:22-23
