Life Lesson: I was cooking in a friends kitchen yesterday and needed a can opener. After searching through all of the drawes multiple times, I finally found a Pampered Chef opener. If you have ever used one of those, you know they are not the typical can opener. In fact, I have had a Pampered Chef opener for 9 years but, because I couldnt figure it out, I have continued to use my old fashioned can opener. But, here I was needing to open a can with nothing available but that unconventional opener. I Googled and found a YouTube video. 2 minutes, and I had it mastered! The opener is safer, the can lid comes completely off, its easier on my hands, etc. Ill never go back to my old opener. I have to ask myself what other things Im doing the old way simply because I perceive that learning a new way is too difficult. In reality, it took 2 minutes. Go forth and conquer!
