Life and people have an unpredictable way of turning out. We are all of different colour and ethnical backgrounds...but all the same race - the human race. So why is it that we have treated each other so despicably? What was Gods original plan? We have all read how God has directed tribes to go forth and totally wipe out other cities; men, women, children, animals and not to touch the gold or take the livestock. Hard to understand. So, what are the answers? It seems to us that whilst colour, religions or beliefs, gender and many other factors which differ from our own, cause the judgements of one another. Is this Godly? Are we not to love our neighbour as we love ourselves? What if our neighbour is a known paedophile or rapist? Well then it seems that we are told to love the person but not the sin. Is this possible? What are the answers? Have watched some videos on apartheid in South Africa, but worldwide countries have done the same; America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Korea, Tibet, in fact every continent at some point practised genocide in some form. What is the answer? To us, it seems evident that us human race do not own the answers. We have the questions but arent turning to God, Who is the only One who can give us the answers. It is also very clear that God HATES SIN. It is known that God SAVES those who have sinned terribly but have turned from their sin. Watching the news or videos on hatred makes us realise that we cant, but only God can heal the most broken and vile of people. That only the love of God can help us to love our neighbour. Our presumption of that answer would be that - 1 John 4:9-12 - By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.
