Life as a Real Estate agent has its ups and downs. Mostly ups. This is a brief description of a few of the questionable days. Occasionally, you make an appointment to view a home with a Buyer and bad things happen. My most embarrassing was walking in a bedroom of what was supposed to be a home where the Seller was not home..but in this case he was..in bed. asleep. naked. The Buyer and I made a quick exit. I dont think the Seller even knew we had been there. My scariest visit with a Buyer was in a house that again, we expected to find no one home however, all lights were out and one of the Sellers was in a room in the lower level of the house with 2 HUGE dogs who didnt let us know they were there until we started to walk into the room where they were (fortunately on leashes)-then let us know in no uncertain terms that this was their house. That was one heart pounding moment! Its funny how these incidents get remembered better than the wonderful Sellers who go out of their way to be inviting to a Buyer . I can tell you, most of the time, it is a pleasure to show a home on the market. I have been in and know enough about home styles to know what to expect and am always surprised both positively and negatively to see what a people do in making changes and decorating. HG TV and Pinterest has been a great influences in how people treat their homes décor, and make it special.
