Life at University of South Asia PROGRAMS The University of South Asia has a program for everyone. With 8 Faculties and 21 departments, USA is offering 150 different degree programs to match the requirements of students seeking the benefits of higher education. Students can join at the Bachelors level and continue to complete an M. Phil or a PhD. At the undergraduate level students have an option to choose a single or double ‘Major’; thus matching their degree to their ambitions. Students also have an option to follow their studies partly in Pakistan and partly abroad. Additionally they can take a degree from the University of South Asia and another from a participating international university. We believe in engaging the students actively in their own education whilst providing a vibrant campus. PLACEMENT AT USA At USA, we focus on employment, entrepreneurship and professional growth. Our students are encouraged to apply the principles they learn during education to their everyday lives. Along the way, we assist our students in launching their careers alongside their university education. Students of Computers are provided with job opportunities starting from the third year of their studies, simultaneously, the Placement Office of USA actively seeks a job for every student. From the start, a USA education is job oriented. As a result, USA is in a position to guarantee jobs to its students. SCHOLARSHIPS & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AT USA USA believes in education for all. For this reason USA has managed a large number of Merit Scholarships dependant on the results an aptitude test, Talent Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the special potential a student demonstrates at the time of admission. USA’s Assistantship programs offer students the opportunity to earn their education by working part time with the University. Students living outside Lahore can take advantage of our Free Hostel facilities where no fee is charged for room and utilities; students from Lahore can benefit from Free Transport. CAMPUS LIFE Education at USA is not limited to reading a text book or memorizing curricula. We believe it has more far-reaching effects on a student’s everyday life and a profound impact on society as a whole.
