Life at the chateau continues to keep all our visitors on their toes and they love it and want to come back for more! In the last month we have had over 20 visitors who have come to help out with our clean up and revamp of the gardens and outer buildings, and they have come from all over the world - Australia, Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand and France. We have cut down trees, cleared shrubs, cut up logs, made woodpiles, made lots of wood chip, taken out doorways, made new doorways, cleaned out sheds and rooms, taken out walls, cleaned roof tops, framed up outer walls for insulation and wiring, scrubbed cupboards and walls, moved cupboards, made bench tops, hung tools, hauled rubbish, made bonfire piles, burnt bonfires, cooked for the hoards, and had lots of fun with friends and family. We thank each and everyone of you for spending time with us and making light work of it all, even if we sent you away scratched up and with aching backs. Helena & Dave, David & Heather, Niki & Eric, Terri & Gerry, Lynn & Dale, Geraldine, Rhiannon & Chris, Ollie, Jarrad & Alex, Chris, Alison, Akira & Illyah, Pierre, M. Viollat and anyone else who may have dropped by. We hope you will all return when the renovations are complete and be proud of your efforts while staying with us in the simple Scout Camp type living conditions! BTW - we have sold another two suites, and have two more people who are interested…get in quick if you want to have a place in a fabulous part of France in our amazing chateau… Cheers..
