Life can be monotonous and you do the same thing over and over. Life can be empty, lonely, and uneventful and you may have no one to turn to. Life can be unknowing and youre seeking fulfillment to ignite your life. Sometimes life is like a roller coaster, its busy busy busy and you have no time for something new because youre just too busy in life!!! Some of you may be prideful and you say that you can do life without God. Or maybe in life you shut everyone down because you have your reasons. Life can be hurtful and even at times feel hopeless. People may have hurt you, you may have a relationship problem, you lost a love one, or youre going through pain and struggles in life because of health issues. Whatever it is that youre going through, life is taking its toll. So any of these may lead you to say, Life is Not Fair! Life is Boring! Life is short, Play Hard! Or you even say that Life Sucks! The world will tell us the remedies to resolve these issues that we go through in life. However its not quite what we need because the worlds solution is only temporary. Then on John 14:27 Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Jesus said on John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” You may have tried to do things in your own strength, your ways, and your will and you keep running into dead ends. Maybe your boat is caught up in a storm that’s in the middle of the sea while the boat rocks back and forth and getting filled with water and you fear the outcome. Maybe youve been riding on the roller coaster too long and you just want peace. You may be here still reading this post because you are hurt and your world is crumbling down. Without Christ, we will continue to have that void in our heart and find neither peace nor fulfillment. Jesus promised us and said, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (John 4:14) With Jesus Christ in our life, He will calm the storms completely by saying Peace, be still! With Jesus in our life, we will find joy, peace, and fulfillment. For Christ Followers, God allows trials in our life to show our dependency on Him. Trials are like hot iron and the heat is designed to use to iron-out our spiritual wrinkles in our life; therefore, we become mature in Christ. Good Night and God Bless!
