Life does not end when we die, nor does it end when life’s - TopicsExpress

Life does not end when we die, nor does it end when life’s challenges toss curve balls. Life is for us to live, to find joy and love, and we must continue until God takes us home. I struggled dearly when my husband Joe passed four years ago, if you’ve lost a spouse then you know what I mean. I tried to find happiness again, but it wasn’t coming until God moved in my life and I was open enough to see his hand. This is rather lengthy post, forgive me in advance, however I felt to share something personal that is happening to me. If you want to make God laugh, tell him what your plans are, well I did, but he had other plans for me. After having married Joe for almost 50 years, then widowed, my ex-husband is miraculously and strangely back in my life. The entire story is too long to tell here, perhaps I will share it in a new chapter of my next book. lol. I know you will be amazed at how God works in lives when you pray for healing and comfort. Bob and I have a lot of healing to do from old resentments and pain of divorce, but we are both willing to open our hearts and explore what might be there for us. Hold us in your prayers that we make all the right choices. (From two older posts. You may recall them.) “My Dearest Friends, I just returned to my desk after receiving a call that my ex-husband had a heart attack and is very ill. He lives alone, without family, I am what he has to turn to after 50 years of divorce… Somethings are just too wonderful to keep private. I learned that even the Lord has mercy on Exs, LOL, my ex-husband had an NDE. He WAS an atheist--not any more!” God bless you! May your plans for the future coincide with those of our Heavenly Father, if not, be willing to take a risk and listen to him as you explore and create newness in your life. Dont settle for less. I love you ~ Betty
