Life events. From our earliest memories of encounters with people to life changing situations, we lean towards things that spark an interest. Our first boy/girl party, a prom, a choice of careers, all to which if we didnt want to go or attend because it wasnt important to us, we wouldnt. But if we looked past our own weaknesses and went out on a limb to experience what might be fun or exciting, then we see the benefits, maybe short term, but beneficial at the moment. We all have been invited to the Lords table to celebrate the breaking of bread, the words of forgiveness, and the spirit inspired word. Sometimes we need a boost of faith, a jolt of Joy to get us back upon the narrow way. It seems to be a short term feeling or emotion, but the Lord God has called you! Is participating in a divine service experience, temporary or is it preparation for that dinner invite we got ? In this preparation we experience 4 things that are life long benefits that will carry us through. 1- Gods blessing, its limitless. Give Him your heart and He will bless you. 2- Grace, not too big or too small, all can be forgiven, God is a loving God. 3- Strength, the spoken word offers a place of worship, through sacrament, and sacrifice. Draw close to God and His wondrous works. 4- Comfort, is achieved through fellowship and repentance through Gods will. The choir sang, I surrender all
