Life has been BEYOND crazy and stressful as of late. While we are rejoicing in every single second that we have been blessed with Damiens new kidney ( no dialysis-YAY!), things have been anything but easy, especially for me. I had surgery just 2 weeks after Damien came home to have a cyst removed and ended up needing an entire ovary removed instead. I had both boys and their daddys birthdays to celebrate while still recovering from that surgery, Damien has required several admissions for IV infusions, he has to go twice a week for follow-up of his transplant, 3 times/week PT, weekly speech and 3 times/week home teaching. Paul has also needed to start seeing a psychologist (referred by his primary to try and get him some much needed services). Then came Thanksgiving and Christmas and all the planning and preparation of such. During a trip to the mall for said shopping I began to have intense heel pain and came to find out I have a bone spur and a condition called plantar facitis, which makes walking all but unbearable! Usually I love the holidays but this year was bittersweet as my youngest daughter (shes 22) has been missing for over a year. Ive turned over every stone I know and am trying to get a private investigator as she is in a VERY abusive relationship and I have begun to fear the worst but finances being what they are, I cant afford to do so. As if that isnt enough, I landed in the ER with a severe case of strep throat on Christmas Eve, Damiens liver labs have begun trending upwards and now I have pink eye. Im not trying to be rude but honestly, I just havent had the TIME or energy to be on here much. Its been all I can do to keep my sanity. I know there are folks and pages who sent the boys gifts for Christmas( and we are VERY grateful) who would like to see pictures-I promise they will be up soon but please try and be patient and understand that sometimes there is more than meets the eye. I didnt say anything about my daughter because frankly, its very personal and secondly, its hard to talk about. My kids are my world and not knowing if one of them is okay has been anything but easy. Again, I apologize but to the individual who posted the nasty remark about me being ungrateful and greedy, please rethink that comment and know the facts before saying such things....this week is midterms with paul and he also has 3 major projects but I will do my best to get pictures up too
