Life has got me pondering things very heavily.. Its amazing how people move in and out of our lives and impact it the way they do. Friends, family, loves, strangers... Sometimes relationships dont work out the way we imagined them, and people fall apart. Sometimes you meet someone and you just click. A lot of times it doesnt seem fair, time was cut short with someone earlier than we felt it should have been. We feel we didnt get enough time with someone or we invested more time than we should have. Is this season of Thanksgiving, Im finding myself very thankful. John Green, the author of The Fault in Our Stars, wrote this... There are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. Theres .1 and .12 and .112 and an infinite collection of others. Of course, there is a bigger infinite set of numbers between 0 and 2, or between 0 and a million. Some infinities are bigger than other infinities...There are days, many of them, when I resent the size of my unbounded set. I want more numbers than Im likely to get... But.. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldnt trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and Im grateful. Just because someone is no longer in your life the way they used to be, doesnt mean you cant still grow and be okay. Life changes, we change. I believe people are placed in different chapters of our lives for a reason. I am so very grateful for the people that have been in my life and that are now. When we are hurt, its hard relying on the thought that everything will work out the way its supposed to and everything will eventually be ok. But weve just got to keep moving, and keep trying. Go to where the happiness is, and always be appreciative to those who brought a smile to your face. I am very thankful.
