Life has taken so many turns for our little family. Through it all, life is good. God has blessed us to touch many lives, but the best thing in our lives, the true way we experienced love was born today. Keelan came blazing into the world (after nine months of percussion practice) a little after 8:00 am. He self-admittedly looks like his dad but when he opens his mouth his mom falls out. Smart, fun, personable, hard-working, classy, great will little kids, super with elderly, does pretty well in his sports, rocks it in the band hall... Keelan hears us brag on everyone elses children all the time. It is rough to be our kid! Today is about him. Son, you are the reason I live. I love you. You are the best thing to ever come from my life. I am daily humbled that God chose me to be your mom. You love me through the rough edges. The path that lies ahead of you started 13 years ago and is developing way too fast right before my eyes. No matter what you do or where you go, you take my heart with you. Shoot to be the man God wants you to be and all else will work for good. I am proud of you, and I love you. Happy Birthday, Son!!
