Life is a miracle, a marvel, a mystery. Of the many openings during the past week in Puerto Vallarta, the one that is palpable tonight is how many miracles each day holds. Snow is covering the ground here, and the trees are simply magnificent, clothed is pure white snow. Winter has arrived, bringing with it the spirit of Christmas. And today, that was my experience, During the day today, I spent time with my mom, two of my sisters, two of my brothers, two of my nephews ~ and so many others. That is a miracle. Seeing my nephew Irish dancing and speaking so clearly that he could be heard at the back of the auditorium was an absolutely unexpected marvel ~ and watching him run to Santa Clause and hug him brought smiles, giggles, even tears to my eyes. So tonight, may we all sleep with childlike wonder and awe, fully aware of the miracles all around us. And in case you need a little reminder, find a child. Miracles are everywhere when you are a kid. Sweet dreams, my queens and kings.
