Life is a series of mishaps and lessons learned from them. If a deer in the forest finds the path across a creek blocked, it chooses another way and completes the task. I find it sad -tragic even- to see people often spending too much time and energy placing blame for their short-comings and assumed failures on other people and/or finding excuses for not being or realizing what they are capable of being. I say assumed failures because a failure isnt a failure until you choose to blame someone else; for once you opt for casting blame on why you arent receiving credit, success or respect youve pretty much disclosed your weakness and highlighted the strength of another. You are essentially saying your success was reliant upon them. I see a lot of this in gaming -a lack of accountability and character culpability for what or what does not happen for people. But I see something else, too: I see quite a few other people resistant to placing blame on others, picking up the pieces when something fails and moving on anew, finding their way again across the figuratively blocked creek by blazing a new trail. Those are the people who will continually be successful in whatever they do. Blame is the worst excuse, you see? Blame keeps you standing in wait at the creek, blocked by an immovable object, while the strongest of the herd moves on.
