Life is about change. Theres absolutely nothing you can do about it something is always changing but heres the beauty part YOU can direct how you handle the changes. Its a simple concept really folks why do we as a society through the pity parties it does you no good last time I checked. Today is a special day, today my dad would have been the ripe mature age of 59. I would have already called him and razzed him about it and asked him some silly unneeded question if it was harder to get outa bed today than it was yesterday. But thats not possible because that has all changed. But what I can do is smile at what his response to my razzing would have been and cherish that I knew him so well I can almost tell you exactly what he would have said, and those of you that know him also are smiling right now as well hearing him utter those words. So heres to you Dad Happy Birthday!!!!! He would have said hell its just another damn day...... Its a sad day yes but with that sadness I know he would want each of us to smile and not worry about him but to go out and pat someone on the back and make them smile. I may not be able to pat you on the back physically today but I hope with this Ive made you smile and reflect back on his smile also. Have a great day folks. Love you Dad and thanks for helping carve me into the person I am today.
