Life is going by so fast! I always try to take the time to reflect when its going extra fast... We had such a fun weekend! Larry A Brooks picked up the camper Friday so we could take it to Craig Ranch softball field in McKinney for Kelleighs weekend softball tourney... We love taking our camper and parking it in the field parking lot to be a gathering place between games for the girls and families. Before we can leave for McKinney on Friday, Kelleigh has a softball parade in Lewisville and I am dropping Steven & Andrew off so they can depart with their Boy Scout patrol for a weekend camp at Lake Ray Roberts. (First one without Larry or I). In the meantime, Krystal White is driving in to spend another weekend with us!! Love her!! Larry and Kelleigh are meeting us in McKinney after the parade... After I drop off the boys, Krystal takes the wheel and we head to McKinney. We set up camp and softball games start at 8am. We get a phone call from Andrew and Stevens patrol leader that they forgot to bring a jacket or anything with long sleeves for that matter... Well, fortunately Krystal and I were heading to the lake between games to go canoeing with the boys so we made a pit stop at the Allen outlet mall to buy jackets and we headed over to canoe with the boys and give them warmth for the evening. Krystal canoed with Andrew and u canoed with Steven. It was a gorgeous day!! After canoeing, we headed back to the ball field for more softball:-) Between games I was finalizing a softball fundraiser I heading up... The girls were selling raffle tickets for a 90 second shopping spree at Walmart. Our winner was Natalie Rodgers. She graciously donated her spree to our team to stock our team with snacks and drinks for future tournaments. We had an 8am game Sunday morning, I ran over to flower mound and picked up boys from camping trip at noon as Kelleigh is playing an 11am game, and we headed back to McKinney for Kelleighs final 330 game. Prior to the 330 game, Larry and I received a huge surprise visit and blast from the past from long time friends J. D. Norris and Rhonda Cochran Norris. It had been 25 years since weve seen them! They watched Kelleighs last game with us and we had time to catch up! Its now Monday morning and I am about to get on with another busy work week... Love my life!
