Life is precious! Life is fragile! Life is great! Life doesnt guarantee us tomorrow, so we need to live life to our fullest! Today was one of the most vulnerable, hurting days of my life! Today we lost our friend and coworker Emily Wheeler to cancer and also the great Maya Angelou! Emily, was there for me to give me hope when my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in September. She said Laura look at me, I was given 6 months to live and look at me, it has been over a year. To me that was refreshing to my soul! I felt hopeful, I knew in my heart that inspite of a stage 4 cancer we can beat this horrible disease! Emily was such a positive force! A true fighter! A real courageous woman! She gave me hope! Now I look in the mirror as I journey on with my husband of 13 years and I ask, why not me? God only trust strong, resilient, people to carry out his works. Emily, thank you for the support, the love, the courage, offering a helping hand even while going through hell yourself. You are a real epitome and an example of how we should all see and live our lives! We will cherish the moments and all the amazing time we experienced with you! We will carry on your legacy and the grammatical lessons you have taught us! :-).We love you Emily and no one can ever replace you! I will use your spoon lesson you taught me forever! Love you sweet lady! May your soul rest in perfect peace! Walk good until we meet again!
