Life is such a mixed bag, isnt it? Ive been calling it a, beautiful cancer, but I dont think that is the correct metaphor. Life is like the great Ganges River in India. The Ganges is the most polluted river in the world yet is the cleanest and has healing powers - how can that be exactly?!? Mother Earth is incredible when left to do Her natural thing. There is so much waste that macrophages have evolved that are specific to this river; THEY KILL ALL HARMFUL BACTERIA!!! When we hone in on our true inner beings we can get back in touch with ourselves. Its not always pretty, sometimes very messy, but incredibly beautiful in the end. Today makes 10 months and 1 days off Suboxone, 2 days before my 37th birthday; I am SO PROUD OF ME! There are, of course, those around me I couldnt have done it without(too many to list and you KNOW who you are)! I hope my transparency helps just one person reading this, and know if anyone needs an ear or some advice, I am here for you. I am feeling very thankful for a, second chance, today. from Detroit, J.
