Life isnt that easy. Especially if you are the one who is at the receiving end...Trials are a part of everyones life and without trials life is an incomplete picture.I have been coming across stories that give me nightmare or even goose pimples.Let me narrate to you an incident that took place few days back.A family of four that lived in a small slum of virar are going through the hardest days of their life. Family comprised of a man who was 37 years old, his wife and two children. Few days back that man was fixing the roof of his house and suddenly he fell from the ladder injuring his head.He was admitted to kem hospital and two days back succumbed to the injuries. One would not imagine that a young man would die soo early leaving behind young kids but death does not knock the door before coming. I feel for the woman who has become a widow just two days back. She has a daughter who is 12 years old and is DUMB,DEAF AND BLIND and a son who is 11 years old. How will she bring her children up ? How will she tackle the increasing prices ? How will she feed her children and her ownself ? These all questions are troubling me since the time i have heared about them..Allah consoles people undergoing such hard trials by revealing twice Verily after every hardship there is ease. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel,But my Muslims brother and sister whats your duty at such instances ? People came up to their aid and some gave thousands and some gave according to their capacity. But do you think that will be sufficient for whole of their lives ? will that money suffice for the bringing up of her children. That money is bound to finish in the coming days and you will see the same people asking for your help. Instead i advice you brothers and sister spend in such a way for such people that there is a constant source of income. For example buy them a sewing machine, open a small buisness for them, etc. A similar incident took place last ramdan, a rickshaw driver died and i and a brother of myne named Suhel chodhary contributed around tewnty thousand and bought them a sewing machine and a refrigerator for the widow. That woman alhamdulillah is now living on her own expenses.. Brother think wisely and help such people in a wise way. Although your contributions may be few but you cant even imagine a sawaab e jaariya you can earn.Calamities can strike anyone, all it requires is assurance and reminding such people of the hereafter and a helping hand .Verily the upper hand is better than the lower hand.May Allah help us with patience and endurance during our trials and reward us abundantly in the hereafter.
