Life with Luke: Today, Luke and I flew to Boston...our first trip to the city. We managed to navigate our way through the city by bus and subway...and somehow, we did this for free! We had early-entry into Fenway Park. We watched batting practice from the Green Monster. We picked up some first time at Fenway freebies. We listened to the band on Yawkey Way. We ate ballpark food. We chanted lets go Red Sox! with the crowd. We sang Take Me Out to the Ballgame and Sweet Caroline at the top of our lungs and swatted beach balls through the stands. We did the wave.... numerous times. We high-fived strangers and photo-bombed peoples pictures. On top of it all, despite being down 4-0 through the 7th inning, the Red Sox came from behind to win 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth! When I asked Luke if he had a good time, he replied, Best. Day. Ever! I dont think any first game at Fenway could be any better than this. That says it all.
