Lifecycle and Maintenance Manager – Waterfront Support Synchron, LLC - Kings Bay, GA Synchron is seeking a Full-Time Waterfront Representative to act as the Trusted Agent of the OHIO Class Replacement Program Office (PMS 397). Successful candidates should have experience as Submarine Repair Officers, Senior Enlisted Maintenance Repair Coordinators, or related. There are two current openings; one at TRF Kings Bay and one at IMF Bangor. The position description and duties are substantially the same. Background: Due to the constraints placed on the ORP platform for maintenance and availability, it is crucial to interface with the maintainers on a continual basis to determine design impact on sustainment. This representative would be a trusted agent of PMS397 and would require knowledge of the refit facilities, maintenance, operations, and design of a submarine platform. In particular, candidate must demonstrate experience with the different stakeholders involved in meeting submarine maintenance period requirements and understand the cost and availability implications of not meeting refit schedules. In addition, they should be intimately familiar in the planning and execution of an SSBN life cycle maintenance plan. Knowledge in the areas of submarine HM&E systems maintenance is highly desired. Engineering degree desired but may be substituted with appropriate experience. Responsibilities: •Directly interface with shipyard management and trades; assess progress; report issues; collaborate to achieve milestones •Independently provide representation of PMS 397’s interests and positions to shipyards and related facilities. Act as a trusted agent for PMS 397. •Perform verification and validation as required •Assess performance metrics and generate briefs, white papers, and related •Clearly communicate tradeoffs in cost, schedule, and technical risk. •Other duties as required Requirements: •5 or more years directly related experience supporting NAVSEA, Naval Shipyards, or related. •Demonstrated expertise with Submarine Maintenance planning and execution; Former Repair Officer or Senior Enlisted related positions •Familiarity with Class Maintenance Plans, sustainment and lifecycle management, and related. •Ability to support a high paced environment while maintaining analytical rigor and discipline •Ability to work independently, onsite, and provide strong representation for PMS 397. •Ability to interface directly with shipyard personnel to execute Program Office requests, obtain feedback on plans, and related Desired Attributes: •Strong customer service background and skills •Clear, concise, and accurate communications abilities both oral and written •Working knowledge of TRF or IMF depending on position – must know facility and be able to operate onsite independently •Proactive problem solving ability •Experience working with/for NAVSEA, Team Submarine preferred; SUBMEPP; SURFMEPP; CPA; SEA 04, or related highly desired. •Experience with Submarines and Submarine Systems •Ability to work a flexible schedule – some travel required, irregular hours sometimes required Administrative Requirements: •You must possess a Secret security clearance SYNCHRON, LLC provides technical support services to the Department of Defense, Government Contractors, and select partners. indeed/cmp/Synchron,-LLC/jobs/Lifecycle-Maintenance-Manager-Waterfront-Support-443290564ac4eb42
