Lifeline Canberra and Snowy Hydro SouthCare (SHSC) will take pride of place on the University of Canberra Vikings jersey in 2014 after the team’s off field partners were revealed at the season launch. The side’s major sponsor is a philanthropist, who has asked to remain anonymous, and requested the prime spots on the team shirt go to its charity partners: Lifeline Canberra and SHSC. Snowy Hydro SouthCare Chief Executive Owen Finegan said it was a huge boost for his organisation. “Snowy Hydro Southcare are very excited about the opportunity to be involved with a great Canberra sporting team. Snowy Hydro SouthCare continues to play a vital role in our community with a vast service area . “With increasing mission statistics and costs it reinforces the need for community and corporate support. This relationship is a great opportunity to continue to grow awareness of our service within the community.”
