Lifes Plans Part 21 Jason cried the whole way to the motel just outside of the town Cassie lived in. He was shocked that she hadnt even said a word. The way she stared at him was like he was a monster. That was far from the truth. He was a very loving and caring person. If she had only given him a chance to show her that. After checking in to the motel room, Jason jumped in the shower. He let the hot water melt away the days stress. The heat soothed his sore muscles. He stayed in there until his body began to wrinkle, with Cassie on his mind the whole time. He climbed out of the shower, toweled off and got in to the king size bed. It was about ten oclock and he decided to watch some television. He hoped it would take his mind off Cassie and coax him to sleep. He never stopped thinking of her but, he did fall asleep. Jason was startled awake by his cell phone ringing. He blinked a few times, trying to adjust his eyes to the lights in the room. His blurred vision prevented him from being able to see the caller ID before answering. Hello? He asked hoarsely. Jason, its Cassie. Her heart was pounding in her chest and butterflies danced in her stomach as she paced around the kitchen. Jason sat straight up. He was awake now. Cassie, was all he could say. Listen, I know you drove all the way out here before but, Im ready to talk now. I want to see you. She waited anxiously for his response. Okay, Im in a motel in the next town. Ill come there. Just tell me when. Now if youd like. I really want to talk as soon as possible. Okay, Im on my way, he said before hanging up. He jumped out of bed and dressed quickly. He practically ran out the door to his mothers car. After cranking the engine, he sped the whole way to Cassies house. ~Skye
