Lifestyle news in brief -- July 26 -- A book titled “Lich su nhin lai duoi goc do y khoa” (A glimpse at the national history from the medical perspective) by medical doctor Bui Minh Duc, which was recently published as an assemblage of intriguing, scientifically precise research reports, sheds light on the illnesses suffered by a number of the country’s key historical figures including King Quang Trung and revered poet Nguyen Du, and their causes of death. -- The Raglai ethnic minority cultural festival will be held for the first time in Ninh Thuan province’s Bac Ai district from Aug 29 to 31. The festival, which will see the participation of some 500 Raglai artists and 150 others, will feature the re-creation of the Raglai people’s cultural rites, fests and folk games, as well as the exhibition of their traditional costumes, working tools, musical instruments, produce and artworks.
