Lifting can freak us out, but it doesnt have to. Learning proper form can make all the difference. 1⃣ Sit on a bench with your weights on your lap, keeping your back straight and your abs contracted. Holding your weights close to your chest, roll back on the bench and use the momentum to lift your weights directly over your chest. 2⃣ Adjust your body so your core is engaged to help lock down your lower back to the bench. Essential for avoiding back pain. 3⃣ Slowly lower your elbows out to the side until you feel a slight stretch in your pecks and then exhale to lift back to the start position. 4⃣ To get extra definition in the cleavage area, I like to bring my palms in at the top, but the weights never touch. Start with a lighter weight to get your form down and aim for 12-15 reps.Dont be afraid to try a little heavier and ask for a spot. You may be surprised how strong you are.
