Light Bulb moment for me yesterday :) Zone 2: Its NOT about how good i am today! Its about how good i am tomorrow, next week, next month etc..... Ive finally got it. Yesterday was the last day of my 1st 4 x week block. I was knackered whilst out running, my HR was 10 bmp over Zone 2 threshold. Normally i would try to stick with my pace, because i never want to be slower than my last run do i? :) Yesterday however, i stopped, changed my screen to only show HR and set back off at a slower pace to keep below 152. Perhaps this way I can avoid over-training and being injured more often than not. Old dog / new tricks comes to mind!
