Light Will Always Overcome Darkness; I am not surprised that in recent times corruption has become a big chewing stick on peoples mouth. To cast our minds back, before NPP came to power in the year 2001, this current atmospheric picture of corruption existed and it greatly influenced their chance of govern Ghana. The NPP and its alleged media associates even some religious bodies make we believed that, the ex-prez Rawlings led government was the trade mark of corruption, hence we should get them out of power for them to lead the country with a corruption free government (Zero Tolerance of Corruption). God being so good, they came to power, and as soon as the corruption songs they sung was played back to them, they boldly told us without shame that corruption started in the days of Adam, therefore nothing can be done about it. Again they said, they will not make publicly corruption scandals linked to members of their government since it will destroy their government. They then set up the office of accountability to check their own corrupt officials. I guess that sounds funny, right? All I expected from ex-prez Koffours led government was to erase corruption out of our society but they came to intensify it by saying it started in the days of Adams which simple logic will implies that, corruption is part of man, hence he will live with it forever. If so, then why are they here again with their friends singing the same corruption song they could not correct when we gave them the opportunity to do so? Is it a mere propaganda? Wanting power again? Whatever it may be, Ghanaians want a president who will be frank with issues and make a move in addressing it than one who will give a Biblical statement to make the wrong look good. Light and darkness has nothing in common.
